Rin Dot
This was a sample branding project for a social media client. I wanted something that felt simple, playful, and true to the personality of the client.
Tools used: Illustrator, Photoshop.
Wordmark
I wanted to start with something simple and scalable. This is what I decided on after a few rounds of trial and error. I liked the idea of using an actual dot instead of the word “dot” here.
Self-contained branding
I liked the idea of having a background and also incorporating the client’s handle. However, I didn’t want the handle outside of the background on this version. This way, the client could print it on shirts or sweatshirts without worrying about small, separate text that may not work as well printed on fabric.
Complete Design
This is the complete design. It incorporates parts of the other versions but feels more finished. I also added a tiny hand illustration, as the client uses a tiny hand often in their sketches and work, giving the viewer a feeling of connection with the client.
